Who is behind Climbable
Climbable is a one-person company in Melbourne that imports climbing holds from the makers gyms cannot easily buy from, and hires them out by the month.
The founder
Climbable is run by Danny Kim. Before this, Danny spent six years building ClimbAble, a climbing highlights channel on YouTube and Instagram with a combined audience above 120,000. Six years of watching competition walls, and talking to the people who set them, is where the idea came from: the holds that make World Climbing Series boulders look the way they do rarely reach Australian gyms, because they are expensive, slow to ship, and hard to justify buying for one reset.
What the company is
CLIMBABLE PTY LTD was registered with ASIC in August 2026 and banks with NAB, with accounts in euros, pounds and US dollars so the makers are paid in their own currency. Danny does the sourcing, the import, the delivery, the cleaning and the gym relationships himself.

Where the holds come from
- SUPR, Unleashed and Contact Holds, Belgium, France and Sheffield. Fibreglass macros and PU and PE holds, including the ranges set at World Climbing Series events. Climbable's first order was placed in August 2026 and is in production.
- Core Climbing, Sheffield. Replica holds cast from 3D scans of famous boulders, including Burden of Dreams, Floatin' and Bouncin'.
- SM Climb, Goyang, Korea. Wooden volumes made to order, supplier to Korean national competitions. Climbable is their first Australian customer.
How the hire works
You pick sets from the catalogue and the weeks you want them. We deliver early in your start week, washed, inspected and photographed, with all bolts in reusable crates. You set for two months or more. Late in your end week we collect. The full terms are on the hire terms page.
